Can I get help with child care costs while I learn?
If you are under 20 you may be eligible for Care to Learn. Another option could be to discuss with a College or 6th form whether they have funding available through the Discretionary Support Fund.
What is Care to Learn?
If you are a parent or carer under 20 and you want to carry on studying or go back to education or training then Care to learn can help with childcare costs. To discuss this in more detail contact the care to learn helpline 0845 600 2809 or visit Direct.gov (see links). Another option is to call at your local Connexions Centre and talk to a Personal Adviser.
An introduction to the benefits and financial support available.
