World of Work
At some point in the future almost every young person will enter the world of work. In fact, those young people who have organised their own ongoing work experience, joined in a volunteering project or who have a part time job have already entered it!
The vast majority of people will work for many years, earning money through work and possibly supporting a family. The world of work can appear to be a hard world to enter - it is true that the qualifications you have gained when young and the skills you have to offer are vital to employers - but it can also be seen as a world of opportunity.
If you do have to work why not prepare for it? Why not aim for the job you really want? Why not make work something you.....enjoy?
Have a look at the sections opposite which should give you some idea of how you can use your time to prepare yourself for the world of work. Set your sights high and you will be amazed what you can achieve.
